30 Foxes was a daily painting challenge in January 2024: 30 foxes, painted in around 30 minutes each, over 30 days.
This collection was inspired by my time working at a local wildlife rescue centre, where I had the privilege of helping to hand-rear orphaned fox cubs. They had been born in a bag of fibreglass and arrived in a very fragile state, so watching them recover and grow into from nursing kits to beautiful healthy adults was an incredibly rewarding experience.
Spending that time with them gave me a real affection for foxes; for their quirks, character and playfulness, they not only inspired this collection, but also helped shape the purpose behind my art: to continue supporting injured, orphaned and vulnerable wildlife.
