Nicola specialises in intricate and detailed line-work tattoos that are pattern and ornamental in style. The tattoo designs are inspired by traditional Henna / Mehndi art and fuses together other passionate subjects that include Mandalas, Floral, Nature, Polynesian, Sacred Geometry Dotwork ....and DISNEY!

Nicola also specialises with:

THE DESIGNS...

If you would like a tattoo from Nicola there are two options:
 

  • Custom Tattoos:
    Submit your specific custom tattoo request via the Online Consultation Form.
    Spaces are extremely limited and only bookable for the next 3 months ahead. All Custom tattoos are created within Nicola's preferred style of work and are one-off designs, never repeated.

  • Pre-drawn Tattoo Designs or create your own bespoke 'Mix 'n' Match' Tattoo:
    A selection of pre-drawn tattoo designs available by Nicola. These designs are non-customisable - so what you see is what you get.
    Or, you can create your own bespoke tattoo by Mix'n' Matching designs created by Nicola. The designs vary in size and details and are available for most body areas unless specifically stated.

TATTOO CONSULTATION...

The ONLY way to book a Custom Tattoo with me is through my Online Consultation Form. The Online Consultation Form asks you several questions regarding the details of your tattoo and enables me to have a pretty clear idea of the tattoo you are requesting. I can then determine if your requested tattoo meets my stylistic preferences/abilities, and I will reply with either an acceptance or recommendation for another more suitable tattooist.

HOW I WORK BEST...

The best tattoo work I ever get to create are the ones where I am given the most creative freedom for your request. A degree of 'letting go' and trusting your tattooist ensures the best possible work. I am very happy to work with you to create the perfect design and I am never offended if you suggest alterations to your design. However, if your vision is not combining with mine, it's not a problem, it may just mean your ideas are better suited to another artist. This is all discussed during the booking of your tattoo, but the more free reign I have with the design within my stylistic preferences, the better the work will be.

FREESTYLING...

I provide a sketch of your tattoo the morning of your appointment (and not any time before)... I appreciate this may sound risky, but I do provide a comprehensive consultation process to understand your full tattoo requirements. The sketches I provide are just that - sketches! I work best with a loose design, and more often than not, I freestyle most of the drawing directly onto the skin with pen. This enables the design to flow elegantly with the body shape and personality of each client. I only begin tattooing when we are both 100% happy with the design and placement.
 

Tattoo Aftercare

So the uncomfortable, albeit painful, tattoo artwork is now complete and you have a beautiful new tattoo - but, the tattoo process doesn't stop there! Aftercare for your tattoo is a VERY IMPORTANT stage of the tattooing process and is necessary for optimum healing. Once you leave the studio it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to care for your tattoo.

What I don't do...

PHONE AND TEXTING

I do not take appointments over the phone or via text messages, any texts regarding tattoo work will not be responded to. All communication is via email please.

RESPOND WITHIN 24 HOURS!

Sounds odd, but just to set expectations: I receive a large amount of emails every week and I have to make time to answer them around the long hours of tattoo work - there is only one of me, and it can take up to 2-4 weeks for a response. Your patience is appreciated and you can send a follow up email after the 4 weeks to nudge me (anything before 4 weeks will just moody me!)

TATTOOING HANDS:

I will only tattoo hands if you already have a planty of tattoo's. Hands are high-maintenance to heal and WILL fade.

​

UNDER 18? Drunk? Pregnant? Breast Feeding? Rude? No shows?

...Just no!

All custom tattoo work is designed and priced specifically to your tattoo requirements. Quotes are issued after submitting an Online Consultation Form and are priced on an individual basis according to the size, details and complexity of your tattoo request.

 

Hourly Rate: £140

Day Rate: £540

 

As a rough guide, a day session is about a hand-sized design.

Multiple sessions are discounted.
 

Only the tattooing time is charged for. All design work, preliminary drawings and freehand drawings are carried out in Nicola's own time and is reflected in the pricing.

​

Deposit: £100 non-refundable.
 

Please ensure you are 100% committed before booking your tattoo. If you need to cancel or reschedule for ANY reason, your existing deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required for a new date.

 

Discounted Larger Designs:

​

  • Larger Designs are discounted due to the number of sessions required to complete the work - to a high standard!

  • Full sleeves and Back pieces can take over a year to complete.

  • Please ensure you are committed to completing a large scale design and have budgeted accordingly before booking. 

  • The pricing structure for larger designs is a guideline, and the price and number of sessions will vary according to the size/complexity/detail/colour of the overall design.

  • As a rough guide, anything hand-size is approximately a day session.

Pricing Guide

Cover Ups / Fix Up Jobs!

I do not accept coverup work or
re-work/fix up  existing tattoos.


I prefer to work with a blank canvas and do not particularly enjoy creating 'make-do' tattoos.


If you are considering a coverup, my first recommendation would be to invest in laser removal. Some tattoos may only need lightening a few shades for me to be able to re-work a more desirable design over the top. Please feel free to submit an Online Cosultation Form if you want help in discussing your options

Tattoo Removal

I can highly recommend a local salon who provide exemplary tattoo laser removal. LA Perfection based in Witney, Oxfordshire, have the most advanced tattoo removal system for removing all tattoo colours and are the only clinic within a 70 mile radius with a laser that can remove all tattoo colours.
